Our Founder

Lorelai Productions is a female-owned theater company started by Dr. Laura Krell. Krell is an opera and musical-theater singer, composer, and producer who has been trained classically, and loves bringing her friends' talents to the stage. After years of working for other companies and performing groups, Krell has become passionate about writing and producing new works specifically telling true women's stories and bringing recognition to their long-hidden voices.

“This show was so good! Lots of spectacle for the eyes and ears, and a lot of emotion too. I felt anger, fear sadness, respect and a couple of "awww that's sweet"s during the show.”

“I was blown away at how well this entire production was written and played out on the stage. A phenomenal cast and crew. A very engaging show that I could watch again and again!”
